Singh told reporters in Guna on Tuesday night that Advani always said one thing and did the other. He said that the proof of this was that Advani has described Jinnah as a symbol of communal harmony in Pakistan.

He ridiculed the BJP’s claim of providing a decisive government at the Centre after the Lok Sabha elections.

Singh said that political instability had increased in the country following the rise of regional parties. The Congress leader said that Advani had challenged the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for a public debate only with the idea of getting some cheap publicity.

He said that had Advani been serious,he would have given the same challenge to other Prime Ministerial aspirants.
