5 nominations filed for Puducherry Assembly polls

The number of nominations filed in Puducherry has risen to 10.

Five nominations were filed on Monday for the April 13 Puducherry Assembly polls.

M Sundaramoorthy and S Ravichandran (both BJP) filed nominations from Thirubuvanai (reserved) and Kamaraj Nagar constituencies respectively.

While M Pichaippan alias Pitchekarane filed the papers as nominee of Lok Jansakthi Party for Oussudu (reserved),N Balu filed papers as independent for Ozhukarai constituency.

Manchala Satya Saikumar filed the nomination both as nominee of AIADMK and also as Independent for the lone Yanam constituency.
