It was an evening in Paris — but not the bubbly kind you’d expect. And certainly not the flashy kind reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian expected. In town for Fashion Week, Kardashian was — in all likelihood, taking a selfie — in her private luxury apartment when a gang of masked men descended. Reports suggest the men entered posing as Parisian police officers (with an odd penchant for dressing like Zorro). But the deception snapped faster than Kim’s itsy bitsy heels when they locked her in a room and robbed the apartment. It’s speculated the gang vamoosed with many million Euros worth of jewellery, leaving Kim distraught. Her musician husband, Kanye West, was so upset at the news, he left a concert in New York mid-way, leaving fans bitterly noting sky-high show prices.

Yet, unkind mutterings aside, it’s understandable the reality check would hurt. Not that Kim is a stranger to the strange ways of Paris.
