Squash player moves HC
Leading local junior player Saket Wali todayfiled a writ petition in the High Court against Squash Rackets Federation of India SRFI and Squash Rackets Association of Maharashtra SRAM for denying him a place in the recent selection trial for the Junior World Cup. Wali had earlier served a show cause notice which was ignored by both the sports bodies. Saket felt his ranking and performance throughout the year demanded a call for the just concluded camp here and stated that by not including him in the Indian team probables both the parties have done injustice to him. The case is likely to come for hearing next week. The World Cup will take place in United States of America in August.
