A day after asking the BJP to steer the Bharat Uday Yatra out of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann’s way, police on Wednesday arrested Mann after he delivered a fiery speech against DPM L.K. Advani at Dirba. Elsewhere, 67 activists were rounded up in Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Phagwara, Sangrur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar. SSP G.S. Dhillon said Mann was taken into custody under Sec 107/151 (CrPC) on apprehensions of breach of peace. He has been remanded to judicial custody till March 26.
