We’ll try to turn the tide in our favour: Dravid

Dravid, however, rued his team’s failure to finish off close games.

“We have lost quite a few games close games. We seem to be getting good performances, but the execution is not happening. We are looking for power upfront.”

Referring to the game opposite the Knight Riders, he said “We had a fair chance to win, since the wicket was quite good, and the outfield quite fast”.

The seasoned cricketer said the Knight Riders’ superb fielding made the difference between the two sides.

He also praised Sourav Ganguly’s bowling in the middle overs.

“His bowling was highly effective as he bowled close to wicket.”
