NEW DELHI, February 19: India’s chances of winning the World Cup in May-June this year seems higher than that of Pakistan. According to an interactive poll by a cricket website, the votes polled so far favoured India (1,898 votes) as against 1,670 in favour of Pakistan.

The first ever World Cup related site — world-cup99.Com — to go online has already begun the India-Pakistan World Cup campaign off the field.

The website is India-centric in content and has exclusive columns by former Indian World Cup team captains and international stars, according to a release here today.

The site, created by India Today Group Online in association with CyberNet Links, will be covering all the World Cup matches live and will have exclusive reporting, expert columns and comments.

One of the most attractive features on the website are thousands of interactive stastics for all previous World Cups. The site also has specially designed wall-papers and screen savers featuring Indian cricket stars, which are designed for downloading. Besides, there are also several interactive competitions and quizzes with prizes to be won.
