Paul McCartney not invited to daughters wedding
London: Paul McCartney was not invited to the wedding of his daughter Mary McCartney. McCartneys 40-year-old daughter wed writer and director Simon Aboud,44,at a Register Office in London and her father only came to know of it three days later when the groom posted a picture on his Twitter page,reported Daily Mail online. Mary decided not to invite her father because she did not want any media attention.
Danny Boyle to direct 2012 Olympics opening ceremony
London: Slumdog Millionaire filmmaker Danny Boyle has been appointed as the artistic director of opening ceremony of Londons 2012 Olympics. Along with the Oscar winner Boyle,filmmaker Stephen Daldry have been confirmed as creative boss to oversee all ceremonies at the sporting event,Digital Spy online reported. Boyle,who helmed eight Oscar-winning Mumbai potboiler,said: Its a completely unique opportunity to contribute to what I8217;m sure are going to be a fantastic games. Im really excited to be involved.
