While reiterating her partys outside support to the Congress-led government at the Centre to keep communal forces at bay,BSP chief Mayawati today said her party would decide on the presidential election only after the UPA and NDA announce their candidates.

Asked whether the BSP would support former Lok Sabha Speaker P A Sangmas candidature, she replied: I am hearing about P A Sangma through the newspapers, but there is no clarity. So what can I say.

Our party is keeping an eye on all the parties8230; We first want to see who the UPA and NDA will field. We will support a candidate who is suitable to us in the line of our partys movement, she added.

On a non-UPA,non-NDA front of regional parties, she said: Our party has not thought about it,we are not going to fall into traps.

While she parried questions on supporting Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjees candidature, she indicated that the BSP would continue to support the Congress-led UPA government to keep away communal forces.

We have supported the UPA government at the Centre to weaken the communal forces. We are supporting it from outside, not inside the government. Whether the government will complete its full term or not,you should ask the allies, she said.
