Police said they suspect she had been murdered.

The body of a 35-year-old woman, believed to be that of a judicial magistrate who worked in the local court, was found in her official residence in Balasore town of Orissa on Friday. Police said they suspect she had been murdered.

Though police are yet to confirm the identity of the deceased, district officials said they believed the body to be that of Anupama Behera, who worked as court process inspector. The body, with a pillow on the face, was first seen from a window by a peon who served in the judicial quarters. Behera, who had been transferred to Koraput district as civil judge (senior division),was relieved from her current post a couple of days ago. She is married and has a son who stays in Bhubaneswar.

Balasore Collector Ranjit Mohanty said,Any confirmation about the reason of death would be known only after autopsy.

Replying to a discussion on a pvt members resolution for an assurance that Pakistani Hindus will be given refugee status,MoS (Home) M Ramachandran told LS,At the moment,we cant consider that issue at all.
