When Manmohan met Gilani

The SAARC Summit was marked by bonhomie between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousaf Raza Gilani.

The SAARC Summit was marked by bonhomie between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousaf Raza Gilani. They shook hands at every opportunity,posed for photographs,laughed and joked with each other. Islamabads spin doctors even put out a story on how Singh thanked Gilani,whose forefathers are reported to have founded the Golden Temple in Amritsar,during one of their interactions. But what took the cake was their hour-long one-on-one-meeting,followed by a long stroll together,completely unmindful of the officials who were walking separately.
