Texas Gov. Rick Perry was asked at a Republican presidential candidates debate Thursday what he would do if he got a 3 am call saying the Taliban had got nuclear weapons from Pak. His answer:

Well obviously,before you ever get to that point you have to build a relationship in that region. Thats one of the things that this administration has not done8230; So,to have a relationship with India,to make sure that India knows that they are an ally of the US. For instance when we had the opportunity to sell India the upgraded F16s,we chose not to do that8230;
