VCs appointments: Guv gets HC notice

The Patna High Court issued notices to the Chancellor of Universities,a charge held by Bihar Governor,asking him to explain by October 24.

The Patna High Court on Friday issued notices to the Chancellor of Universities,a charge held by Bihar Governor,asking him to explain by October 24 his position on a writ petition challenging the appointments of six vice-chancellors and four pro-vice chancellors in the state. A Division Bench also ordered the newly appointed V-Cs and Pro V-Cs to explain their position by that day.
