Hyderabad: Bajrang Dal activists married off three couples who were dating in public. The outfit claimed that the couples had themselves approached them for help after their parents opposed their alliance. Two marriages were performed with the consent of couples with traditional Hindu rituals, A Keshava Raju,VHPs state organising secretary claimed.
srinagar: A group of women from Dukhtaran-e-Millat,led by chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi,rallied on the streets,raided shops selling greeting cards and made a bonfire from greeting cards at Lalchowk. They also raided restaurants in the city.
Jind: A Haryana Police ASI,Mularam,was suspended for roughing up a young boy and girl,including dragging the girl by her hair to the police station,in Jind on Thursday. The duo were found together in a house at the Jind-Rohtak road.
