US,India to work together on Mars,Moon missions
Washington: India and the US have agreed to cooperate on missions to the Moon and Mars after successful collaboration in Chandrayaan-1 mission. NASA and ISRO agreed to explore further cooperative space exploration work,including future missions to the Moon and Mars, ISRO and NASA said in a joint statement.
60 more PG diploma seats at IRMA
AHMEDABAD: Institute of Rural Management,Anand IRMA has been granted approval by the All India Council for Technical Education on March 19 to increase the strength of the batch for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management PRM by 60 seats,an institute official said. It would come into effect from June. The existing capacity is 120 seats.
Lizard extinct for 135 yrs rediscovered
MUMBAI: Geckoella Jeyporensis or Jeypore ground gecko,an enigmatic lizard from the Eastern Ghats which was considered extinct,has been rediscovered after 135 years,according to naturalists at the Bombay Natural History Society. This species was recently rediscovered in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

TMC worker killed in West Bengal
KALYANI: A Trinamool Congress TMC worker was shot dead in Nadia district Saturday after being called out of his house,police sources said. Praladh Roy was declared brought dead when taken to a hospital. The police has arrested two persons in connection to the crime.
Constable held for raping minor
Dharamsala: A constable of Indo-Tibetan Border Police was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl here. The constable was here as a member the of ITBP contingent to take part in the 61st All India Police Games that concluded here Friday.
