Screen awards have earned a great reputation of honouring the best as they are the only awards that takes into account performances rather than box-office clout. So far,Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have won four Best Actor Screen awards each. While Shah Rukh Khan has won for Raam Jaane,Devdas,Veer Zaara and Chak De! India,Hrithik has won for Kaho Naa. Pyaar Hai,Koi Mil Gaya,Krissh and Jodhaa Akbar. Theres Aamir Khan who has won three Screen awards,Best Actor for Raja Hindustani,Best Supporting Actor for Taare Zameen Par and also Best Director for Taare Zameen Par. While Ajay Devgn,Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor have won two Screen awards each,Ajay Devgn has got it for Zakhm and Company,and Bachchan has won for Black and Paa. Even Anil Kapoor has won for Virasat and as Best Supporting Actor for Taal. Among the actressess Madhuri Dixit tops the list with four Screen awards with Best Actress awards for Hum Apke Hain Koun.!,Raja and Mrityudand and Best Supporting Actress for Devdas. Following Madhuri are Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji with three Screen awards each. Vidya has created a record with three awards back-to-back for Paa,Ishqiya and The Dirty Picture. Rani Mukerji in the past has won for Hum Tum and Black and as Best Supporting Actress for Yuva. However,my sincere advice to you is to do away with the popular choice awards.
