Tata Teleservices Maharashtra on Thursday reported a net loss of Rs 79.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31,2010 Q3 result.
The company had a net loss of Rs 100.76 crore in the same period last fiscal,Tata Teleservices Maharashtra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income declined to Rs 577.44 crore in the October-December quarter ended 2010,compared to Rs 593.70 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
8220;The company has commenced operations using GSM technology in August 2009 and therefore the results for this nine month are not strictly comparable with those of the corresponding prior period,8221; the company added.
Shares of Tata Teleservices Maharashtra today closed at Rs 17.80 on the BSE,down 4.04 per cent from the previous close.
