Private telecom operator Tata Communications reduced its consolidated net loss by 22.44 per cent to Rs 218.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30,2011. The company had a net loss of Rs 281.39 crore during April-June quarter 2010,Tata Communications said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Revenues from telecommunications and other services grew to Rs 3,257 crore during the quarter,up 12.91 per cent from the same period previous fiscal. On the standalone basis,the company reported a net profit of Rs 47.79 crore,up 20.59 per cent in the same period last year.
