The Jabra Halo sets you free in every sense. Equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology,a hip and trendy design and amazing sound quality, this device is perfect for music lovers who want to enjoy their tunes wherever they are. The Halo can connect to mobile phones,MP3 players, laptop and even a TV. The headset has a touch-sensitive control panel neatly tucked away on its side and the music fades out as soon as you receive a call on the phone. The foldable Halo headset also sports intuitive on/off functionality,a discreet display to reveal battery and connectivity status and touch volume control but still weighs just 80 grams. If you don’t like a halo around your head, then opt for the revolutionary design of the Jabra Stone Bluetooth headset. With a shape like no other headset in the market,it elegantly wraps behind the ear combining both style and functionality. The Stone comes with a sleek wireless portable charger that also functions as a compact carrying case that fits into the palm of your hand. The lightweight headset weighs only seven grams.

A PC all retro
Some designs catch your eye,and a whole lot more. Dave Schultze’s rendering of a 1950s-era Philco Predicta television into a Windows computer might be too futuristic for some. But,it is also the most stunning computer design since Apple introduced The Cube. The computer “box” is actually two pieces,a cyclopsian screen and a rectangular deck, plus a keyboard which smacks of an antique typewriter. There is no physical model of the Philco PC,“and I designed it with no client,no deadline,no budget,” says Schultze, who runs the industrial-design firm SchultzeWorks, based in Pasadena,California. And while he said he has received tons of response since a photo of the computer-generated image hit the Web,there haven’t been any calls from manufacturers.
