Securing Mr Vadra

After all the confusion over the technicalities of providing exclusive cover to Robert Vadra when he is not with spouse Priyanka Gandhi,the Special Protection Group SPG is said to have taken up the responsibility fully. While questions are being raised about whether the SPG Act permits this,the justification given is that the pattern of threats tends to cover all family members,including Vadra. Incidentally,it was this confusion that had led to a special mention of Vadras name in the security-exempted list at airports because he technically did not fall in the list of SPG protectees.
