The Election Commission has ordered repolling on May 10 in 60 polling booths in 10 parliamentary constituencies across Rajasthan and at six booths of Pataliputra and Nalanda constituencies of Bihar.
Repolling will be held in polling stations across Jaipur Rural 2,Sawai Madhopur-Tonk 21,Dausa 14,Bharatpur 2,Karauli-Dholpur 3,Alwar 6,Pali 8,Rajsamandh 1,Barmer 1 and Jhalawar-Baran 2. In Bihar,repolling will be done in five booths under Pataliputra constituency and one under Nalanda.
Meanwhile,the EC has rejected a BJP complaint that a number of booths had recorded 100 per cent polling in Arunachal Pradesh. Earlier,BJP MP and candidate of Arunachal West Kiren Rijiju had demanded repoll in
Mukto and Palin Assembly segments. The EC rejected Rijijus demand.
