Around 50 MLAs expressed their solidarity with Vasundhara Raje in a memorandum to the BJP leader on Wednesday and called for the revocation of the suspension of two of her supporters. She is our leader and we have asked her to revoke the suspensions as it is not justified, BJP MLA Vijay Bansal said.

Party chief whip Rajendra Rathore and Bansur MLA Gyan Deo Ahuja, suspended by state unit chief Arun Chaturvedi, reiterated that the suspensions were unwarranted as they had not indulged in any anti-party activities. We believe we did not break party discipline or speak out against party leaders, Ahuja said.

Meanwhile, the Jaipur unit of the Rajasthan BJP on Wednesday lodged a complaint against unknown miscreants who vandalised the BJP headquarters here late on Tuesday night. The miscreants who were reportedly chanting anti-BJP slogans damaged a few hoardings and signboards. Raje chose to remain tight-lipped about the resignation issue and instead slammed the Ashok Gehlot government over price rise at a public meeting.
