Pancham Nishad is presenting Rain Raga,a combination of natures melodies,on August 11 and 12 in Mumbai. The thematic musical event will highlight sitar,tabla,flute,pakhawaj,percussion and the interplay of male and female vocals.
The event will feature an eclectic mix of the most popular names from the field of classical and non-classical music. Both the days will have all the artistes like Rashid Khan (vocal),pakhawaj player Bhawani Shankar,Sufi singer Richa Sharma (vocal),percussionist Taufiq Qureshi (percussion),Rakesh Chaurasia (flute),Purbayan Chatterjee (sitar) and Satyajeet Talwalkar (tabla) and Sheldon (bass) performing together.

Raag Malhar and its variants known as melodies of Monsoon (Varsha Ritu) are the most popular seasonal melodies. Music lovers look forward to hearing them during the monsoons. The moods of the season encompass almost all the Navras that signify the emotional state of mind of every living being in different genres of Indian music. Rain Raga will not only showcase Indian Classical Music but also Thumri,Folk and Regional Music.
