Pak man to have 2 brides in 24 hrs
A Pakistani man planning to marry two women in 24 hours has gained national attention. Men who take multiple wives usually do so years apart. Azhar Haidri,23,refused to marry 28-year-old Humaira Qasim whom he has been engaged to since childhood because he wanted to marry Rumana Aslam,21. But the decision threatened to split his family. So,he offered to marry them both and they agreed. He married Qasim Sunday and is to marry Aslam on Monday.
Militants kill 3 anti-Taliban fighters
Militants killed three members of anti-Taliban militias on Sunday,official sources said. The beheaded bodies of two volunteers of an anti-Taliban militia were placed at Saifaldar Bazar in Orakzai tribal region. Taliban militants also killed Mumtaz Mithakhel,chief of a peace committee in Hangu district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
