Pak doesnt open border despite US apology
ISLAMABAD: Pak said Thursday it has not decided when to reopen the Torkham border,a key crossing that NATO uses to ship supplies to Afghanistan,despite a US apology for a helicopter attack that killed two Pakistani soldiers. Both the US and NATO expressed their condolences Wednesday for the September 30 attack and said American helicopters mistook the Pakistani soldiers for insurgents being pursued across the border from Afghanistan.

ISLAMABAD: A video clip on a militant website has raised speculation that around 40 Germans and some other Europeans are getting militant training in Pakistans lawless border region,intending to join the Talibans fight against NATO forces in neighboring Afghanistan or return to Europe and strike at the soft underbelly of those countries.
