Peoples help sought for Indian channels blackout: Pakistans electronic media watchdog has sought the peoples cooperation to blackout Indian television channels on domestic cable networks. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority had barred cable operators from relaying Indian channels that do not have landing rights. There are 2,500 cable operators8230;To monitor all of them is not possible for us, PEMRA Chairman Mushtaq Malik said.
Pak universitys V-C kidnapped: The Vice-Chancellor of a university in Peshawar was Tuesday kidnapped by unidentified men,the police said. Islamia College University Vice-Chancellor Muhammad Ajmal Khan was abducted as he came out of his residence in Professors Colony on Jamrud Road to go to office. Armed men took control of his car and sped with Khan.
