NPCIL,NTPC to set up JV for n-plants

State-owned firms Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd NPCIL and NTPC have joined hands to form a joint venture for setting up nuclear power plants.

As per the agreement signed by both the companies here on Saturday,the joint venture company will have 51:49 shareholding by NPCIL and NTPC.

This would be the first joint venture in nuclear power generation in the country.
