It seems it was not just the Trinamool Congress and the DMK which were unhappy with the Presidents address. Initiating the discussion on the motion of thanks for the address in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday,senior Congress MP Satyavrat Chaturvedi did not hide his dismay over the less attention given to industry and the manufacturing sector in the address.
I didnt feel this address contained anything to encourage the industry and facilitate its revival. The government will have to take some steps8230; to promote industry, he said.
Barring this observation,Chaturvedi strongly defended the government and attacked the BJP.
