Mule fetches Rs 2.3 lakh in Ghaziabad

A four-year-old mule fetched the highest price of Rs 2.30 lakh at a fair in Garhmukteshwar.

A four-year-old mule fetched the highest price of Rs 2.30 lakh at the ongoing annual fair on the banks of the Ganga at Garhmukteshwar in the district.

Seller of the mule,Yash Pal Singh from Punjab,said the mule is an Indo-German cross breed and that he bought it two years ago for breeding purposes.

He added that the buyer of the mule,who hails from Rajasthan,purchased eight mules for a total cost of Rs 4 lakh,including this one.

The fair is an annual event organised by Zila Panchayat.
