Congress chief Sonia Gandhi Wednesday appointed Arjun Modhwadia as head of Gujarat unit of the party. Modhwadia,who hails from Porbandar,is the former leader of Opposition and will replace Siddhartha Patel as the PCC chief.
According to a communique issued by Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi,Sonia Gandhi also appointed former Bihar PCC chief Sadanand Singh as the partys leader in Bihar Legislative Assembly.
