Maruti Q2 net down 5.41
new delhi: Hit by an unprecedented violence at its Manesar plant and low sales,the countrys largest car maker Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday reported 5.41 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 227.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30. During the quarter,the company also doled out an all-time high average discount of Rs 14,750 per car to push sales of its vehicles.
Mah-Satyam net up 16.65
New Delhi: IT firm Mahindra Satyam on Tuesday reported 16.65 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 277.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30. The companys consolidated revenues rose 22.85 per cent at Rs 1,938.36 crore.
STFC Q2 net up 15.96
new delhi: Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited STFC,on Tuesday said its profit after tax surged by 15.96 per cent to Rs 362.57 crore. The companys net interest Income increased by 6.15 per cent to Rs 913.60 crore.
Whirlpool Q2 net up 98
new delhi: Home appliances maker Whirlpool of India on Tuesday reported 97.63 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 28.38 crore for the quarter ended September 30. The net income during the July-September quarter of this fiscal also went up by 9.74 per cent to Rs 633.24 crore.
