Man held for abusive calls to Venkaiah daughter

They found that the number belonged to a woman from Thirumullaivoyal here. She told the police that she had lost her SIM card a year ago but did not file a complaint. The phone was later traced to Kumar with the help of the IMEI international mobile station equipment identity number and he was nabbed late Saturday night,the police said.

The police said Kumar was earlier arrested on a complaint from a girl who had rejected his advances. Kumar,who stumbled upon the lost SIM card,used it to make the abusive calls.
