Won’t succumb to global pressure on emissions: Jairam

New delhi: Enviornment Minister Jairam Ramesh Saturday said India would not succumb to international pressure on legally binding commitments and will only act in national interest. “I can assure you that we’re not taking on any legally binding commitments under international duress,” he said.

Sai Baba recovering,say doctors

PUTTAPARTHI: Sai Baba,who is undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction,showed signs of recovery on Saturday. “There is a perceptible improvement in the condition of his kidneys. His lung infection has cleared to some extent. But he is still on ventilator,” doctor A N Safaya said.
