As the race for the top job in the National Commission for Protection of Childrens Rights heats up,guess whos in contention: Amod Kanth,former Delhi cop and now chief of the Delhi State Commission for Child Rights. Kanth,who runs an NGO for childrens welfare,Prayas,has had a chequered past. He even contested the Delhi Assembly elections once on a BJP ticket. The Women and Child Development Ministry will be taking a call on his candidature,before sending it for approval.
