Kajaria Ceramics FY11 net up 69%

The company's net profit after tax during the fourth quarter of 2010-11 grew by 44%.

Tiles maker Kajaria Ceramics Ltd on Sunday reported a net profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 60.66 crore for the year ended March,2011,a 69 per cent growth over the last fiscal.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 35.85 crore in 2009-10.

Its total income during 2010-11 grew by 31 per cent to Rs 1,004.57 crore as compared to Rs 766.75 crore the previous fiscal,Kajaria Ceramics said in a statement.

The company’s net profit after tax during the fourth quarter of 2010-11 grew by 44 per cent to Rs 18.43 crore over the same period last year,it said.

Kajaria Ceramics had reported a net profit of Rs 12.77 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

Its total income during the fourth quarter of 2010-11 grew by 31 per cent to Rs 295.9 crore from Rs 226.29 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal,it added.
