J&K: Myanmar national killed in explosion,4 hurt

Sources said one of the victims reportedly tried to break a metal object which lead to explosion.

A Myanmar national was killed and four people were injured in an explosion inside a scrap dealers shop at Channi on the outskirts of Jammu city on Thursday afternoon.

Sources said one of the victims reportedly tried to break a metal object which lead to explosion.

The deceased was identified as Saifullah. Sources said he used to collect scrap from different parts of the city to sell to the scrap dealer Sonu whose shop the incident occurred in.

The injured included Shehnaz,her daughter Tupu,Sohail and Imran all scrap pickers. Sonu was not at the shop at the time of explosion.

The police have registered a case and started investigations.
