Information on airport services now on cellphones

Passengers travelling through Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport will now have an added advantage of booking air tickets,hotel rooms and getting other basic information on transport services through the airport operator’s new website,launched for mobile devices.

Passengers travelling through Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) will now have an added advantage of booking air tickets,hotel rooms and getting other basic information on transport services through the airport operator’s new website,launched for mobile devices. The website also provides real time flight information.

Operator Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has launched the mobile website m.newdelhiairport.in. This hi-tech website is compatible with every smart phone available in the market,a DIAL spokesperson said.

“The launch of this website will add to the excellent passenger experience already available at IGIA. The website can easily be opened on all modern mobile devices like the Blackberry,iPad and Android devices. Several other advanced applications are there in the pipeline,which we feel would bring even greater convenience to the passenger,” said DIAL’s chief executive officer I Prabhakara Rao.
