India to soon open tourism office in Moscow

India will soon open a regional tourism office in Moscow,Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahai announced in the Russian capital.

India will soon open a regional tourism office in Moscow,Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahai announced in the Russian capital. A joint India-Russia Tourist Trade forum will also be formed at the Indian embassy in Moscow to promote tourism between the two countries,Sahai,currently on a tour of Russia,Ukraine and Kazakhstan,said.

Sahai stressed on the need to improve connectivity between cities of India and Russia.

The minister also inaugurated an exhibition displaying literary and artistic works of Rabindranath Tagore. The exhibition is being organised at the Russian State Library by the joint efforts of Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre,the Indian Embassy and the Oriental Centre of Russian State Library.
