Husband of con woman accuses ex-minister of ruining family

The controversial links of alleged con woman Saritha S Nair,which has already cost two personal staff members of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy their jobs,is getting murkier with her husband on Saturday alleging that their solar/wind mill power venture and family life had collapsed due to the relationship between his wife and former forest minister K B Ganesh Kumar.

Biju Radhakrishnan,who is absconding after Sarithas arrest,also told TV channels over the phone that his wife had links with union minister of state for power K C Venugopal.

Nair had allegedly cheated several people of crores,promising to provide solar power solutions and make them wind mill owners in Tamil Nadu.

Radhakrishnan told the TV channels that the company Team Solar and his family life had been shattered due to Ganesh Kumars relation with Nair.

He said he had met Chief Minister Chandy,seeking his intervention to settle their family matter.

A meeting with Chandy was facilitated by M I Shanavas,a Congress MP from Kerala. Minister K C Venugopal had called her several times. Saritha Nair had told me that Venugopal had asked her about what was her problem with Kumar, Radhakrishnan said.

The sacked staff of the Chief Minister had relation with Nair,but the Chief Minister had not intervened in the solar/wind mill issues. From my wife,I had learned that the Chief Minister was in the dark about many things happening in his office.

On his part,Venugopal said Nair had invited her for the inauguration of the solar ventures. But there was no talk on personal matters, he said.

Shanavas said he had arranged a meeting for Radhakrishnan with the Chief Minister to settle his family matters.

The allegation against Kumar,who was forced to quit the cabinet recently after his wife complained of domestic violence,has come at a time he was looking forward to get back into the ministry.

Kumar,who had ironed out differences with his estranged father R Balakrishna Pillai,told the media that a lobby working to prevent his re-entry into the cabinet was behind the fresh allegations against him.

Regarding Radhakrishnans allegation that he had met Nair at a hotel in Coimbatore,Kumar said the hotel room was arranged by a journalist couple in a leading TV channel in Kerala. The journalist couple had invited him for a function of upper class Hindu Nair group Nair Service Society,said Kumar.

Meanwhile,the Opposition parties said that the Chief Minister had tried to mislead the Assembly by saying that he had never talked to Radhakrishnan.
