HMSI July sales up by 32.24%

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India reported a 32.24 per cent growth in its total sales at 1,12,855 units in July compared to 85,343 units in the same month last year.

Sales of motorcycle rose by 65.02 per cent to 45,748 units in the month over 27,723 units in the corresponding month in 2008,HMSI said in a statement.

The company reported a 16.46 per cent increase in scooter sales at 67,107 units in July compared to 57,620 units in the year-ago period.
