The story is about a teenager called Hanna,who unlike other teens is extra-smart,has a better stamina and is as strong as a soldier. Raised by her widowed father,Erik,who is an ex-CIA man,this 16 year old is home-schooled by him to make her a perfect assassin. There is an unfinished business that Erik wants his daughter to deal with and therefore in her adolescent period she is separated from her father only to embark on the mission for which she was always destined. But before her father and she can reunite as planned in Berlin,the story goes for a toss.

Protagonist Hanna is being played by Saoirse Ronan,who was an Academy Award nominee for her film Atonement,which was also directed by Joe Wright. Filmed on location in Europe and Morocco,the film promises to weave in dark fairy-tale elements with thrills and adventure.
