Gur prices improved by Rs 7.40 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 961.40 per 40 kg,in futures trading today on paucity of stocks and poor supply in physical markets.
Marketmen said,aggressive buying by traders in line with pick up in demand and restricted supply in physical markets led to a rise in gur futures.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) counter,gur delivery for July contract increased by Rs 7.40 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 961.40 per 40 kg,with an open interest of 17,510 lots.
The gur for September contract rose Rs 5.60 or 0.60 per cent to Rs 940 per 40 kg,with an open interest of 5,390 lots.
