Fortis Q1 loss at Rs 13.41 cr

Total income of the company stood at Rs 337.92 crore for the first quarter ended June 30,compared to Rs 185.43 crore in the same period last fiscal,Fortis Healthcare said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

On a standalone basis,the company reported a net profit of Rs 27.63 crore. It had a loss of Rs 1.56 crore in the same period last fiscal.

The company’s total income on standalone basis stood at Rs 61.55 crore for the first quarter ended June 30,compared to Rs 50.57 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

Shares of Fortis Healthcare were trading at Rs 153.40 in late afternoon trade on BSE,down 0.13 per cent from its previous close.
