Fortis Malar Hospitals,a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare,today said that its net profit declined by 25.88 per cent to Rs 6.3 lakh for the quarter ended June 30,compared to the same period of the previous fiscal.
Net income from operations rose to Rs 18.82 crore for the quarter ended June 30,compared to Rs 14.19 crore in the same period of the corresponding fiscal,Fortis Malar Hospitals
said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
“This growth has been fuelled by investments in new medical programmes,renovated infrastructure and a significant improvement in patient care services,” Fortis Malar Hospitals Limited chairman Bhavdeep Singh said.
“We are confident that the company is well-poised for continuing this exciting growth trend and shall form a significant part in Fortis Network growth and healthcare delivery plans in South India,” Singh added.
Shares of Fortis Malar Hospitals closed at Rs 32.50 on the BSE,down 1.07 per cent from its previous close.
