Ford India sales down 3% in February

Ford’s domestic sales declined by 13.54 per cent to 8,035 units in the reporting quarter from 9,293 units in the same month last year,it added.

Its overseas shipments,however,increased by 66.71 per cent to 2,389 units in February this year from 1,433 units in the same month last year.

“We have embarked on an exciting growth path in 2012 as evident with our 10,000 plus sales for the second month in a row and addition of 45 dealerships across India in February,” Ford India President and Managing Director Michael Boneham said.
