Though there is a lot of fuss about Shahid Kapoor flying the F16 air-craft,the fact is that the actor was actually screaming inside the aircraft when it took off. He says,I am loving the fact that I flew the F16 for my upcoming film Mausam. Even Tom Cruise did that in Top Gun though he flew the F15! But it was not easy for me. Initially I did a lot of research and tried to perfect my training. My dad,Pankaj Kapur,who turns director with this film,had specifically told me that I should not take up any other assignment while working on this one. And after all the preparations,when I had to sit inside the aircraft and do the stunt,despite a co-pilot sitting behind me,I could not manage the controls and was actually screaming when I was in the air. I like speed but I hate travelling in airplanes! smiled the actor at the promo launch of Mausam recently.
Moustache matters
The actress also speaks about the friendship that she developed with Shahid over the films shoot. She says,I generally dont mix up and interact with my co-stars but this is the first time that I opened up and became friends with Shahid. During our ball-room dance rehearsals in Scotland,we talked a lot and became buddies. So will the buddies co-star again? Only time will tell.
Just a cameo
Pankaj Kapur,who is all set to make his directorial debut with Mausam,will do a cameo in the film instead of a full-fledged role as planned earlier. Says the director,Initially we had planned that I will be doing a role in Mausam,so we tried to fit in my character into the script. But we failed to do so. Anyway since it is my first directorial venture I wanted to concentrate on my direction. The viewers,however,will not be disappointed as I am doing a guest appearance in the film. Mausam,which was suppose to release on September 9,will now hit the theatres on September 16. Buzz was that the makers didnt wanted their film to clash with the other two big-budget movies Imran Khans Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Ranbir Kapoors Rockstar that were slated to release on the same date. However,putting all speculations to rest,Kapur said,Releasing the film is not in my hands,it is in the hands of my distributor. With the film being postponed,I am getting some extra time to work on the films post-production.
PROUD UNCLE
Aamir Khan actually went to a theatre near his house to check out the audience reaction for his production Delhi Belly,and was quite pleased with what he saw. I was very happy to see the youngsters laughing and cheering and felt satisfied that our creative team had put together a good film, said Khan. He was particularly gung-ho about nephew Imran Khans performance in the film. There was not a single false note in his portrayal of the struggling journalist,Tashi, smiled the proud uncle. In fact,Aamir himself was supposed to essay the role of the rotund Nitin,which was later played by Kunal Roy Kapoor,but could not do it because of prior commitments. I was to start shooting for 3 Idiots wherein I had to play a 20-year-old. So I had to be thin. But I have no regrets as Kunal has done a superb job as Nitin.
Compliments galore
Salman Khan,who is surprised by friend Ajay Devgns beefed-up look in Singham,is all praises for the actor. Superb. Ajays body is looking too good, Salman said on micro-blogging site Twitter. The Dabangg star posted Ajays photo from Singham.
Ajay has taken everyone by surprise by showing off his bulging biceps and chiselled body for the film wherein he is playing an angry and morally-upright police inspector. The theatrical trailer of Singham was released along with Salmans movie Ready on June 3.
The two have worked together in films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and London Dreams.
Hair affair
Shenaz Treasury had to pay a hefty price to bag a role in Aamir Khans Delhi Belly! The actress,who plays an air hostess in the film and loves her gorgeous tresses,had to cut her hair short for the movie. Says Shenaz,The entire cast was present at hairstylist Nalini and Yasmins salon for a makeover. Since I play an air hostess,they thought I would look better in short hair rather than a bun as air hostesses need to have their hair out of their face. The hair stylist refused to use a wig for me. So,I was asked if I would cut my hair short. I relented as I could not turn down an offer from Aamir Khan Productions!
But it wasnt easy for the former veejay to bid adieu to her long tresses. Shenaz actually had tears in her eyes when she saw her hair strewn on the floor. However,it was just a matter of time before she regained her crowning glory,thanks to her genes!

Gulshan Grover,while shooting for Smile Foundations I Am Kalam,bagged all the extra attention from the lead actor! On the first day of his shoot,when Grover arrived at the location in Rajasthan,he was welcomed by the protagonist of the film,Harsh Mayar,who is just a kid. Says the actor,Before I came on the sets,Harsh was all amused that he would get to see me live and in front of him. He was so excited that he was confirming with all the crew members if the real Gulshan Grover is coming or a fake one. The actor further adds,Harsh literally called up not only his parents but also relatives and friends and made me talk to all of them.
Grover made the star-struck boy feel comfortable and once they started shooting,they became friends.
