Fancy vehicle registration number auctioned for Rs 26.05 lakh

In a measure of the craze for fancy vehicle registration number,the number CH01-AP-0001 fetched the highest amount of Rs. 26.05 lakh in an auction here today.

In a measure of the craze for fancy vehicle registration number,the number CH01-AP-0001 fetched the highest amount of Rs. 26.05 lakh in an auction here today.

The Registering and Licensing Authority of the union territory of Chandigarh said that for the auction of CH01-AP series,there were 99 bids and a sum of Rs. 69.21 lakh was collected,said an official release.

The second highest number bidded was CH01-AP-0005 for Rs. 4.50 lakh.
