The Anti-Corruption Bureau ACB of Rajasthan probing the scam has found Karnal Flying Club's involvement.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau ACB of Rajasthan, probing the fake pilot scam in Jaipur, has found the involvement of Haryanas Karnal Flying Club in at least one of the 13 cases under investigation.

Talking to The Indian Express,Additional Director General of Police ADGP,ACB Rajasthan,Ajit Singh said the records of the 13 fake pilots, being looked at by the bureau, contained certificates issued on the basis of certain flight log entries made in the Karnal Flying Club.

The ACB has already arrested Mahendra Singh Beniwal, the chief flying instructor of the Hisar Flying Club, for having facilitated the issuance of fake flying hour certificates to pilots under training at the Rajasthan State Flying Club.

A fake pilot trained at the Rajasthan State Flying School,Jaipur, who claimed to have flown cross country from Hisar to Jaipur were found to have allegedly paid for the flying hour certificates. Beniwal had, according to sources, countersigned some of these fake certificates issued by the Jaipur school.

The involvement of the Karnal Flying Club in another similar case has emerged. We will be moving ahead with further investigations in Haryana, added Ajit Singh.

Meanwhile, following investigations by the ACB,the Haryana government, too, has launched its own inquiry into the possibility of more such cases being unearthed in Haryana.
