It seems like Mugdha Godses dream has finally come true.

It seems like Mugdha Godses dream has finally come true. The model-turned-actress was recently seen visiting the registrars office to complete some formalities about her apartment in Andheri in suburban Mumbai that she has recently bought. While she has not appointed any interior decorator, she has splurged a lot on her dream house. Mugdha plans to move into her new residence as soon it is complete. The leggy lass is yet to decide if she will have an equally lavish house warming.

Road trip

Hrithik Roshan, who embarked on a trip through six cities with his co-stars Abhay Deol,Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, said he was excited to see Gujarat in the rains.

I was excited to gorge on tasty Gujarati food and to see parts of Central and South Gujarat in the rains which I had never experienced before, said the actor.

This is the first road trip8230; and it gives me an opportunity to interact with fans and people, who have turned up to meet us despite heavy rains, he said. The idea for the journey,in a fleet of cars,is taken from the film in which three friends Hrithik,Farhan and Abhay take a road trip that changes their lives forever.

During the four-day road trip wherein Hrithik,Farhan and Abhay took turns to drive, they covered Surat,Vadodara,Ahmedabad,Udaipur,Ajmer and Jaipur before reaching Delhi. There they were joined by director Zoya Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani. However,Kalki Koechlin could not join them due to health reasons.

The cast,at the end of their four-day 1500 kms drive, performed a live concert at a mall in Gurgaon,Haryana. Prior to that they even visited Laxmi Vilas Palace, the residential palace of royal Gaekwad family who ruled the erstwhile princely state of Baroda for more than 200 years.

Pani pani re

The advent of the monsoon gives us an opportunity to get wet in the rains, gorge on hot pakoras and bite into some corn on the cob. Even Raveena Tandon loves this season. A die-hard romantic at heart, the actress loves the rains so much so that she takes a long drive with her family and spends some quality time with them. She likes taking her two kids to Lonavala and back when it is pouring heavily. In our minds too,Raveena is synonymous with the rains. After all,the actress looked her sweltering best while romancing Akshay Kumar in Tip tip barsa pani from Mohra. It went on to become one the most popular rain songs.

Celina Jaitly seems to have impressed Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty. It so happened that recently when he was in Mumbai,he found himself surrounded by the paparazzi. Just when he thought that the shutterbugs were taking his pictures, one of them called out to him,Sir,youre ruining my shot of Celina Jaitly. The Premier was zapped and since then he has not been able to recover from the fact that people in India are so crazy about Bollywood stars. It looks like after Egypt,of which Celina is the brand ambassador, the actress might soon take Canada by storm.

Tasty feast

Like always, there was a lot of fun on the sets of Rohit Shettys Singham. And this time, since the film has a Maharashtrian feel and is set on the Maharastra-Goa border, there were several Marathi actors in the movie. Naturally there was a lot of bonding on the sets. On the last week of the shoot, since everyone was craving for Marathi delicacies, actors Suchitra Bandekar and Jayant Sawalkar got homemade puran-polis for the whole unit. One of the most savoured Maharastrian delicacies,it soon turned into a poli party with everyone enjoying the tasty feast!

Hollywood-bound

In recent times there have been several B-town actresses who have harboured dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Though they have got their agents, shifted base to the US and even managed to get clicked on red carpets,it has been futile. However, theres one such actress who even without trying has managed to impress Hollywood filmmakers and thats Neetu Chandra. According to sources,Chandra was selected amongst prominent faces for a screen-test as the production house,an Indian American Group, felt that her Indian featuresroa suited their requirement. Following the screen-test,she had to fly abroad for an interview with officials from the production house. However, due to heavy rains last week,Neetus passport got damaged. By the time her passport was renewed, she learnt that the interview had been cancelled! But our source adds that the production house is keen to cast her and is ready to go that extra mile. Heres hoping all is well that ends well!
