With the UPA government endorsing the proposal for creation of a separate Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh,different organisations belonging to the Bodo community in Assam renewed their demand for a separate Bodoland Tuesday with a series of agitational programmes from August 2.
Leading the demand is the All-Bodo Students Union ABSU,which had in the late 1980s raised the Divide Assam Fifty-Fifty slogan,with its emergent executive committee meeting at Kokrajhar saying No Bodoland state,No rest.
